From wardrobe tones and styling to light direction and gentle posing, every detail is carefully considered to create the luminous, connected imagery you see throughout my portfolio.
You do not need to know how to pose, coordinate outfits, or create the “perfect” session on your own.
After booking, you’ll receive thoughtful preparation guidance designed to help everything feel effortless and cohesive - from wardrobe styling and client closet access to recommendations for professional hair and makeup.
During your session, I gently guide the entire experience while still allowing space for natural connection, movement, and emotion.

This experience is designed to feel calm, thoughtful, and beautifully taken care of from beginning to end.
Before your session, you’ll receive preparation guidance, access to the client wardrobe, and styling support to help everything feel cohesive and effortless.
Soft, neutral wardrobe tones and professional hair and makeup all play a role in creating the luminous, refined aesthetic seen throughout my portfolio.
The goal is not to look overly styled or overly posed - but to feel relaxed, confident, and genuinely beautiful in your photographs.
RELAXED SESSIONS
Children are never expected to sit perfectly still or smile on command, and your partner does not need to know how to pose or “be good” in front of the camera.
My sessions are gently guided while still leaving space for movement, personality, and genuine connection. Through relaxed direction and playful prompts, I create an experience that feels calm, natural, and easy for the entire family.
As a mother myself, I understand that real families are perfectly imperfect - and some of the most meaningful photographs happen in between the moments you thought weren’t working at all.

A few kind words
I have nothing but great things to say about Cait and her beautiful, amazing, calming energy. She made me feel confident, beautiful and 100% comfortable to take photos in my lingerie at 39 weeks pregnant, something I would have had a hard time doing. But I’m so happy I did, because now I have such a beautiful reminder of what my body went through to carry our children. She did so well working with my two rowdy boys and capturing their photos on the fly. I trusted her whole heartedly holding and swaddling our little girl. Poet just melted in her arms so calmly. I will definitely be getting more of my photos done with Cait. I also want to mention how she was super mindful with COVID-19, she washed her hands, had hand sanitizer available, wore a mask, kept her distance as much as possible and even spread out her next clients appointment so she would have time to fully sanitize her work area. I highly recommend her to all my friends and doula clients!

I ended up using Caitlin for our baby girls new born photos. We went to her studio to get these photos done when I was 5 days postpartum. Caitlin made us feel extremely comfortable and took the time to make us feel at home. She was so gentle with our little bundle of joy and got her settled for the photoshoot. Her patience and grace while working with our daughter was beautiful. Our photos turned out better then I could imagine! I highly recommend using Caitlin for newborn photo shoots!
