Caitlin Blair is known for her timeless and natural style of photography both on location and in studio. Photographing families with a modern and minimalist style - capturing every last detail of your baby at this fleeting time. The newborn fuzz, their dimpled fingers, the flakey skin, the milk blisters and the windy grins. These are the things that change so quickly and that we wish we could preserve in our memory and look back on when they're older.

If you are not ready to pack baby up and leave the house quite yet I can come right to your home within the Edmonton area and bring everything needed for an intimate and emotive lifestyle session. Soft, neutral coloured blankets and layers, wraps, head bands and heirloom quality hand knit outfits. These sessions include a combination of portraits of baby posed naturally, and authentic interactions between family members with the help of me guiding the session along with prompts.

I know how hard it is to get out of the house in the first few months of parenthood, so my studio is equipped with everything you could need. I want your experience to be as relaxing as possible and you will have plenty of time to get ready and look through my client closet once you arrive. All you need to bring is yourselves and baby! For the moms looking for a handful of images and a short but sweet, very relaxed mini session in my studio. These sessions are dedicated solely to you & your babe and showcasing your beautiful connection. This is for any age of baby or toddler, and could look like candid shots of the two of you playing, a nursing or bottle feeding session, or anything else that you know you would love to look back on one day.

I'm not sure I can adequately express how much I love the photos Cait has captured of my daughter and our family. As a new mom, of course my baby always looks beautiful to me and I am often trying to capture what I see on my own phone or personal camera. But there is just no comparing it to the quality of professional photography and the amazing work Cait has done. The sweet expressions, inquisitive stares and soul piercing gazes. Caitlin manages to encapsulate so much personality in a single photo, it is truly stunning. I can't recommend her enough and will be singing her praises every time I reflect back on the beautiful photos she's taken for us. Within the last few months we had done a maternity and newborn/lifestyle session with Caitlin and she did such an amazing job with both. My husband and I are very awkward and not photogenic at all but Caitlin made the entire experience very comfortable and easy for us. She had come to our home for the newborn session as I had only been one week postpartum, Caitlin made it so effortless and really brought a sense of calmness to our home and was so gentle with our newborn. I absolutely love the style of photography that Caitlin does and I would recommend her to anyone.
