2 week old Tyson's Lifestyle Newborn Session in Edmonton

I photographed Tyson's Lifestyle Newborn Session in Edmonton recently. The session was held at their home in Southwest Edmonton and their home was a photographers dream with wall to wall windows with the most beautiful natural light. I loved including their olive tree in the background as well, it's always nice to add a little pop of colour into my otherwise fairly neutral style!

All of my sessions include a good mix of the more lifestyle images where I will direct the family to a spot with beautiful light and give little prompts to get more candid and emotional images. We spent the majority of the session on their main level in both the dining and living room areas, and we also briefly went upstairs so I could capture some sweet shots of them laying with baby on their bed.

Tyson was a little angel through the whole session, he only stirred once for a brief little feeding and then was back to sleep for the rest of the session.

My favorite image from the session was this one - Tyson reminded me of a little super baby about to take flight!
