I photographed the Oleksow's Family Photography Session in Beaumont a few weeks ago at a beautiful new outdoor location. Generally I try to photograph family sessions later on in the evening at Golden hour when the sun is lower in the sky, but in the early summer this is a bit trickier with little ones when the sun sets very late! I was so happy with how this session turned out though with the sun peaking through the trees and both boys were happy little campers throughout the entire session as well.
Little Cooper had fun spinning and playing with his Dad and Paxton was totally content just hanging out with his Mom and observing.
My sessions involve a lot of play! While I do always capture the classic "Smiling at the camera" family portrait that you can hang on your walls, what I love the most is being able to deliver images that show your children's personalities at whatever stage they are in.

Mom and her boys were dressed from my client closet and I used my Sony A7iii, along with my 35mm 1.8 lens for the majority of the session.
