I've compiled a fun list of things to do in Edmonton this Winter with the Kids that are perfect for the whole family - babies included!

Kiwi Nurseries Christmas Walk

December 2nd, 9th & 16th from 11:00am-3:00pm

For $10/child, take your children for a magical walk through the trees with encounters from different Christmas characters. There will be hot chocolate and craft making for your kids to take home. Sign up here.


Light Up Festival at Edmonton Legislature Grounds

December 7th from 5:00pm-6:00pm

To celebrate the Season officially kicking off, at 5PM the lights on the giant tree will switch on. After the Light Up, you can visit the open house in the Visitor Centre, located in the Queen Elizabeth II building for a scavenger hunt, colouring stations, and a visit from Rocky the Ram


Brighten Up Beaumont

December 9th 2023 from 4:00pm-9:00pm

5417-43 Avenue (Four Seasons Park in Beaumont)

There will be wagon rides, carolers, hot chocolate, an ice slide and live ice sculptures. You can take a stroll through the Corridor of trees and there will be a special visit from the Grinch and Gingerbread Man as well. If you need to get any Christmas Shopping done be sure to check out the Painted Door on Main Street before hand and pop into Chartier across the road for the best Poutine and fresh baked pastries.


The Enchanted Forest in Fort Saskatchewan

All of December

Visit City Hall, Dow Centennial Centre and the Fort Saskatchewan Public Library to check out a unique Christmas Tree Collection created by close to 50 local businesses.


The Enjoy Centre Christmas Market

Every Saturday from November 26th to December 17th from 10:00AM- 3:00PM

The Enjoy Centre (101 Riel Drive) in the Greenhouse. Finish up your Christmas Shopping and browse through over 225 vendors each Saturday. There will be fresh produce and baking, decorations, crafts, jewelery and clothing. There are activities for children including letters to Santa!
